Terms and Conditions

1.The 'Cadbury 'Release the Joy Inside' competition is open to everyone residing in South Africa except employees of Cadbury South Africa (Pty) Limited (the "Promoter"), their merchandisers, advertising, promotional and PR agencies and all their immediate families.
2.Entry to the competition is through the purchase of a single, specially marked promotional 90/g100g or 180g/200g Cadbury slab (Dairy Milk, Fruit and Nut, Whole Nut, Mint Crisp, Top Deck variants), and SMSing the unique code found in the wrapper to 33973 (R1.50/SMS). Please note that no other Cadbury products are eligible for the competition.
3.The Promoter will not be responsible for any non-delivery of entries.
4.Each SMS is charged at R1.50 incl. VAT. Free minutes do not apply.
5.The competition runs from 4 May 2009 to 30 September 2009. No entries received after 30 September 2009 will be accepted.
6.The prizes include cash prizes to the value of 650 000 and chocolate hamper prizes to the value of R30 000.
7.Cash winners will be chosen from the correct entries via a random draw and contacted via telephone.
 a.Cash winners will be chosen each week for 22 weeks with the final draw taking place week commencing 28 September 2009.
 b.Cash prizes are divided into 22 prizes over 22 weeks and consist of: 1 x R280 000, 1 x R45 000, 1 x R40 000, 2 x R35 000, 1 x R30 000, 1 x R25 000, 2 x R20 000, 2 x R15 000, 7 x R10 000, and 4 x R5 000.
 c.Cadbury will deposit the cash into the account of the MSISDN (cell phone number) owner. If the winning MSISDN owner does not have a bank account, then another account needs to be supplied to Cadbury. Cadbury will not be responsible for incorrect bank account details given.
 d.Once the winning cell phone number has been drawn, if (for any reason) Cadbury cannot contact the cash prize winner for a period longer than 24 hours after drawn, the prize may be forfeited and a new winner may be drawn at Cadbury's sole discretion.
 e.Once winners have been notified, if (for any reason) Cadbury cannot contact the winners for a period longer than 7 (seven) working days and no prior arrangements (for example, alternative contact details) have been made by the winner with Cadbury, the prize may be forfeited and a new winner may be drawn at Cadbury's sole discretion.
8.Chocolate hamper winners will be notified immediately upon SMSing the unique code found inside the promotional Cadbury wrappers.
9.Two hampers will be given away every week with a total of forty-four (44) hampers to be given away in total.
 a.Chocolate hamper winners will be contacted telephonically and their delivery details taken down.
 b.Once winners have been notified, if (for any reason) Cadbury cannot contact the winners for a period longer than 7 (seven) working days and no prior arrangements (for example, alternative contact details) have been made by the winner with Cadbury, a new winner may be drawn and the prize may be forfeited at Cadbury's sole discretion
 c.A physical address must be given to Cadbury. There must be someone available at the given physical address during business hours (9am- 5pm) Monday to Friday.
 d.Hampers will be delivered to the address supplied by the winners.
 e.Cadbury cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses supplied.
10.The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
11.Cadbury cannot take responsibility for network delays, transfer delays or damage sustained in transit.
12.All prizes other than the cash prizes are not transferable and may not be converted into cash.
13.Cadbury may collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes.
14.By participating in this competition the winner agrees to publication of his/her name and photographs for promotional and official purposes at no additional cost to the Promoter. Winners may have their names and photographs placed in any publication Cadbury chooses. This is at the discretion of Cadbury and no correspondence will be entered into.
15.Winner's details will be posted onto the Cadbury website (www.cadbury.co.za).
